I've never really been a Bow guy, but I will go after a unique one if I can. I was at the end of a 6 hour binge scouring the web for corkscrews when I came across a two tooled bow that was marked! Always cool to find a marked piece. It's stamped "B.B. Wells West Strand". A nice addition to the collection.

For about 9 months I've been looking for the missing half of this paired item. I acquired a Lund Lever online a while back for less than half the price of the pair, often sold together. SO, figured that I could buy the corkscrew part separately for a minimal price too. Well it finally happened last week. Despite the high divorce rate in this country, I'm sure the happy couple will live happily ever after.

Well today was a nice surprise. I remember winning this item about a month ago. It seems that the wrong address was put on the package, so it was on hold at the post office for two weeks! Does anyone even know what this figurine really is? I believe it was listed as a dolphin and I've see it listed as a sea serpent. It kinda looks like a pig with long hair. Whatever. It's cool and it's MINE!

Well it was a welcome surprise to have the Red Ross Pig arrive in the mail today. Now I "technically" only need a yellow pig to complete my ross pig collection. And a Creme one would also be nice, as my Creme one is in packaging, but for now fits perfectly in the collection. Anyone have a Yellow pig to spare or know where I can acquire one? P.S. I've heard rumors of a blue piggy existing, but no one seems to have it in their collection. Maybe I will email the Mythbusters (from Discovery Network) so they can do an episode on it?

Well, Josef was right. I was on the Golden Knight. I came up short though. 2nd place does not win....ever! Though I would not mind paying big bucks for a Knight, it would be nice to find one, two or three within the 5-20 range like some people we know. Although I would imagine that Chicagoland is all tapped out on "sale rack" Golden Knights. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm happy to have won another Flash and Josef's Clough Double helix. This will be number 5 that I have gotten from him. It's just a cool piece that is in perfect unused condition. Clearly one of my favorites!

Late one night last week, I popped on ebay for one last search before bed. The third listing was a U-NEEK Patent cork puller! Before I could even read the listing, I found myself frantically typing passwords and clicking "Buy It Now" and "Pay Now". I was SO excited, that I couldn't even sleep that evening. Well the prize has finally arrived. I just need to get one last needle loose.....Anyone got some WD-40?

The Corkscrew Gods are definitely smiling on me today. I was happy to see that I won a Red Ross Pig! Now I only need a Yellow pig to complete my set. Oh, and a Blue one.....
